L.A. city and county approve wide-ranging plans to reduce homelessness

Los Angeles city and county leaders today unanimously approved plans aimed at reducing homelessness across the region.
County supervisors agreed to spend $150 million over the next two years to fund a variety of programs, including long- and short-term housing, while the City Council approved strategies such as a system of mobile showers and public restrooms.
